being of members of the Black

development of the Black Community in

We beleive in increasing access to
education for the youth of the Black
Community in BC.

We believe that the Black Community
should be part of the decision-making
processes and policy creation in society,
and that our work will make that possible.

OUR PROGRAMS

Jr. Black Achiement Awards prority
are include:

+ Educational opportunities which foster
advancement,

+ Intergenerational training and mentoring,

+ Promoting and nurturing a deeper
appreciation of our cultural diversity
heritage,

+ Offering training and education in
communication and leadershio skills,

+ Health and Wellness Education,

+ Community Activism & Civic
Engagement,

+ Provide recognition and award
scholarships to applicants that identify as
members of the Black Community and are
interested in obtaining a post secondary
eduction,

+ Host Community Partner Education
Session,

+ Host the Jr. Black Achievement
Weekend Educational Events,

+ Host the Jr. Black Achievement Awards
Ceremony.
